Axis Airtel Credit Card revises its benefits starting 12 April. Check details here

Axis Bank has revised the Axis Airtel Credit Card benefits, effective 12 April 2026, which will change how the card works in day-to-day use. While the cashback percentages on this credit card remain unchanged, the caps on them have changed considerably.

Key changes to come into force from 12 April

1. Cashback capping: Cardholders will continue to earn 25% cashback on Airtel Mobile, Broadband, and DTH via the Airtel Thanks App and 10% cashback on other utility payments via the Airtel Thanks App. However, they will be able to set their own cashback cap for the month.

The maximum cashback that can be earned on Airtel spends in a statement month will now be capped to the base cashback amount (1% category) earned during the same statement month basis the following:

A. 25% Airtel category spends: Capped at twice the base cashback earned during the same statement month, instead of ₹250

B. 10% Airtel category spends: Capped at the base cashback earned during the same statement month, instead of ₹250. The Cashback earned credit will continue to follow the existing 60-day credit cycle.

Accordingly, the cashback credited as per the revised capping logic will be reflected in statements generated on or after 12 June 2026.

2. Food delivery apps: 10% cashback benefit on Swiggy, Zomato, and BigBasket has been replaced with a 10% value back on Zomato, Blinkit, and District Movies, applicable via Ecom as the mode of payment.

The value back against Zomato, Blinkit, and District Movies will be credited to the respective partner wallets and will have no validity period. The value back can be utilised for any subsequent purchase made at the respective partner platform.

There will be a maximum monthly value back of ₹200 per partner, per primary card. Additionally, the minimum order value of ₹499 on Zomato and Blinkit will not apply to the Axis Bank cashback.
